Q1: If there is a small amount of a type of intoxicant in food or drink, is that food or drink lawful or forbidden?
A1: It is not permissible to consume food or drink if there is any intoxicant in them whose effect is apparent in them; because intoxicants are forbidden, whether they are pure or mixed with others, provided they have not been consumed and their effect has not completely disappeared. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
