The ruling on regularizing and gathering for a specific supplication

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Some people have a set of supplications they commit to reciting morning and evening, where one of them makes the supplication and the others respond with "Ameen" in a loud voice. This is called the "Rabita" recitation. And its text is: (O Allah, You know that these hearts have gathered in love for You, united in obedience to You, and become one in calling upon You; so strengthen, O Allah, their bond, make their affection for You continuous, guide them to the right paths, fill them with Your light that never fades, expand their chests with the abundance of faith in You and beautiful reliance upon You, give them life through knowledge of You, and let them die upon martyrdom in Your cause. You are the best Master and the best Helper) What is the ruling on this?
There is nothing wrong with this supplication; it is a supplication that does not contradict what the Sunnah brought, even though its specific wording has not been transmitted. However, its meaning is correct. As for gathering for it, or for other supplications transmitted from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and making that a regular practice after every prayer, or after the Fajr prayer, or after the Maghrib prayer, that is a religious innovation (bid'ah). This is because this was not done in the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) or the time of the Companions. Any act of worship that a person performs which was not done in the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) or the time of his Companions is a religious innovation (bid'ah), and every religious innovation (bid'ah) is misguidance. So one is prohibited from doing that, and it is said: Instead of gathering for this supplication in a loud voice and responding with "Ameen," each of you should supplicate for himself with whatever is easy for him. Moreover, it is better that the supplication be made before the closing salam, not after it, because what comes after the salam is dhikr (remembrance of Allah), not supplication.Allah the Exalted said:
Then when you have completed the prayer, remember Allahفَإِذَا قَضَيْتُمُ الصَّلاةَ فَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ
[An-Nisa: 103] ? As for supplication, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said in the hadith of Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), when mentioning the tashahhud,He said: (Then let him choose whatever he wishes from supplication) So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) placed the supplication after completing the tashahhud and before the salam, and Allah (Mighty and Majestic) placed dhikr (remembrance) after the salam and did not mention supplication.
