[A Painful Incident and the Consequences of Satellite Dishes]
Your Eminence! A man is married to a woman from a wicked family, as the husband himself reports about the state of her people. One day, the husband left his house, and upon his return, he found a sad and heartbreaking situation: a man had entered his wife’s home after she opened the door for him, thinking he was the son of one of the neighbors, and he committed a shameful act with her. The husband found marks of beating and strangulation on her, and she told him the truth, but he insisted on keeping her and did not divorce her. What do you advise this person to do with that woman, knowing that he is a person of good and righteousness and a caller to Allah, especially since the news has spread among the people? May Allah preserve you and reward you?
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment.
This incident is undoubtedly painful and sorrowful, and it has causes,And among its causes: namely the evil and calamity spread through the media, whether visual, written, or audio.
People have expanded their listening to foreign media through the satellite dishes known as "dushush." We ask Allah to protect the Muslims from their evil and to empower the state against their people so that it can eliminate them. The state has, praise be to Allah, issued a warning that it will eliminate these dishes. We ask Allah to help it in this and to hasten this matter before the evil and corruption spread.
Undoubtedly, the enemies of the Muslims spare no effort in turning Muslims away from their religion. If they can do so with weapons that kill souls, they do so, as is happening now in Bosnia and Herzegovina and other Muslim lands. If they cannot achieve that, they resort to destructive morals. When a person’s morals are destroyed, he becomes like a beast, having no concern except enjoying this world—may Allah protect us from that. And Allah said about the disbelievers:
but those who disbelieve enjoy themselves and eat as grazing livestock eat, and the Fire will be a residence for them.وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يَتَمَتَّعُونَ وَيَأْكُلُونَ كَمَا تَأْكُلُ الْأَنْعَامُ وَالنَّارُ مَثْوىً لَهُمْ
[Muhammad:12] a bad outcome. If these media outlets are seen by a young man or young woman, they are absorbed into their hearts, and it becomes easy for them to practice them.

Likewise, among the destructive media: They invade people with bad, wicked, and deviant ideas, through which many people are led astray. For this reason, we advise our Muslim brothers in general to remove such trials from their homes, and to watch over their children, both sons and daughters. If they find a magazine that is inappropriate or destructive to morals, it is obligatory for them to burn it in front of the household members and to warn them against bringing in anything like it again.
Likewise, in other means, if they see that the household members are insisting on it, they must prevent them. As for letting the rein hang loose, it entails great harm, such as the case mentioned by the questioner.

As for what concerns his wife, he says: He found marks of beating on her, which means that the woman did not do this of her own choice, and that this man—Allah knows best—knocked on her door and made her think he was one of her mahrams or relatives, so he entered and did what he did.

As for her saying: She thought he was the neighbor’s son, which is a mistake on her part. Even the neighbor’s son is not permitted to be opened the door for. The neighbor’s son is like a relative of the husband,Meaning: which is death. Therefore, when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) warned against entering upon women, he said: "Beware of entering upon women,They said: O Messenger of Allah! What do you say about the in-laws?Meaning: The in-laws are relatives of the husband, such as his brother, his uncle, or his maternal uncle. He said: The in-law is death," meaning: flee from him as you flee from death. He is a calamity; because when the in-law enters the home of his relative, you find that people do not object to it, and he also thinks it is a trivial matter to enter the home of his relative; so evil results. So we say to this woman: Do not open the door to anyone ever except her husband or one of her mahrams. Also, be cautious, because some people are wicked and may imitate voices, so be careful of this. What I see is that if this woman claims she was coerced, as is apparent from her situation, which is evident from the question, she is excused and there is no sin upon her. And if her husband keeps her with him, he is not a coward, but he is excusing her. It is not befitting for him to leave her because of this act that happened to her, and she—Allah knows best—was coerced. As for the talk of people, no one is safe from it. People cursed the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) and cursed Allah (Mighty and Majestic).
