The Shaykh : This question has previously been answered by the fatwa I wrote, and by what His Eminence the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Abdul Aziz ibn Abdullah ibn Baz, wrote, explaining its danger. He stated that the one who acquires it has wasted himself and wasted his family, because it broadcasts, according to what we have heard, abominations that no person can withstand except by avoiding these satellite dishes. However, we have been given good news from the authorities that it will be dealt with, but only after measures are taken to prevent the broadcasting of evil. My advice to my brothers is to boycott these satellite dishes. If they have installed them, they should repent to Allah the Exalted and the Majestic and destroy them. They should know that man was not created to be like a beast, enjoying only his belly and his private parts as livestock enjoy. For this is a characteristic of the disbelievers[Muhammad 47:12].
