Explaining the Leniency of the Islamic Shari'ah
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and his Companions, and those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment.
To proceed: This is the third weekly meeting of the month of Jumada al-Thani, year 1414 AH, which takes place every Thursday. We ask Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) to make it beneficial.
We have completed our discussion on the interpretation of Surat al-Buruj in previous sessions.
Today, I think we should talk about what relates to time,And it is: wiping over socks and leather socks; because the winter season for the general public began two days ago.
So we say: Indeed, Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, made this religion easy,So Allah, Mighty and Majestic, said in His Book: [al-Baqarah: 185] .
And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: (Indeed, the religion is easy).
And he (peace and blessings be upon him) said while sending out delegations to call people to Allah: (You have been sent to make things easy, not to make them difficult, so make things easy and do not make them difficult).
This is the general rule in the Islamic religion; all the legislations of Islam bear witness to it. The foundation of the legislations is easy and simple, and then when something occurs that necessitates ease, it becomes easier. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said to 'Imran ibn Husayn: (Pray standing, and if you cannot, then sitting, and if you cannot, then on your side).
And Allah the Exalted said: [Surat al-Baqarah: 183].
And in the midst of the verses, He said: [Surat al-Baqarah: 185].
And regarding Hajj, Allah the Exalted said: [Surat al-Baqarah: 196] meaning: so he does not shave his head, and upon him is [Surat al-Baqarah: 196].
And the general rule is: [Surat al-Baqarah: 286].
And his statement: [Surat al-Taghabun: 16].
All of these are considered a path that the Muslim must follow: [Surat al-Taghabun: 16].

And Allah the Exalted said:
O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous -
And in the midst of the verses, He said:
and whoever is ill or on a journey - then an equal number of other days
And regarding Hajj, Allah the Exalted said:
And whoever among you is ill or has an ailment of the head
فَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ مَرِيضاً أَوْ بِهِ أَذىً مِنْ رَأْسِهِa ransom of fasting [three days] or charity or sacrifice
And the general rule is:
Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity
And his statement:
So fear Allah as much as you are able
All of these are considered a path that the Muslim must follow:
