The obligation of one who steals a sheep, eats it, and then repents

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
A man, during a period of heedlessness, stole a sheep along with a group of people. They slaughtered it and ate it. This man has repented to Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He). Does he have to pay part of what he believes is his share of the slaughtered animal, or does he have to cover the entire value of the sheep? This is with the knowledge that the others have not repented?
It is obligatory for him to pay the entire value of the sheep, because the cooperating people are one hand. However, in this case, does he know its owner? If he does not know its owner, he should give the value in charity with the intention of it being for the owner, because those who agree on something have the crime of the group as the crime of one person. For this reason, if a group agrees to kill a person and they kill him, they are all killed, even if they are ten for one.
