The ruling on entering the state of ihram from other than the designated miqat

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Is it permissible for a student who came from Riyadh and has colleagues in Jeddah to visit his colleagues in Jeddah and then enter the state of ihram with them for Hajj?
It is not permissible to delay entering the state of ihram from the miqat if one has gone to the Hijaz for Hajj. However, if one went for a visit and did not have the intention to perform Hajj or 'Umrah, and then his colleagues invited him to perform Hajj with them, and he intended to do so from his location there, there is no harm in entering the state of ihram with them. As for one who intends to perform 'Umrah or Hajj, he must enter the state of ihram from the miqat.

And we say to the brother: Matters are easy. Enter the state of ihram from the miqat for tamattu', combining 'Umrah and Hajj with a break between them, then exit the state of ihram and enter the state of ihram with your brothers for Hajj. If the time for Hajj is near and you wish to enter the state of ihram for qiran, combining 'Umrah and Hajj in one ihram, or if you wish to enter the state of ihram for ifrad, performing Hajj alone, there is no harm in that for you.
