Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (Nay! Nay! Rather, a rust has covered their hearts for what they used to earn)]
Allah, Mighty and Majestic, said: [Al-Mutaffifin: 14] : That is, they are not the fables of the former peoples.
But these : That is, it gathered upon them and veiled them from the truth.
[Al-An'am 6:129] : That is, from the evil deeds; for evil deeds stand between a person and guidance,As Allah the Exalted said: [Muhammad: 17] So whoever is guided by the guidance of Allah, and follows what Allah has commanded, and leaves what Allah has forbidden, and believes in what Allah has informed of, out of fulfillment of his duty, and that is in what came from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), then there is no doubt that his heart will be illuminated, and that he will see the truth as truth, and see falsehood as falsehood, and he will magnify the verses of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), and see that they are above all speech, and that the guidance of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is above all guidance. This is for the one whose heart Allah has illuminated with faith. As for the one—seeking refuge in Allah—whose heart has been stained with the filth and impurities of sins, he does not see these verses as truth, but rather he does not see them except as the fables of the former peoples, as in this verse.
[Al-Mutaffifin 83:14] , and in (Bal) there is a slight pause according to some reciters, and according to others there is no pause,So it is permissible on this basis to say: ،And it is permissible to say:[Al-Mutaffifin 83:14] And this does not change the meaning,Meaning: whether one pauses or does not pause, the meaning does not change.
Allah, Mighty and Majestic, said:
