We have previously stated that the people of denial of the divine attributes and deviation have isolated the Qur'an from providing knowledge and certainty, and they have made reason the thing that provides knowledge and certainty. They have made excuses, all of which are defective, and if they are truthful in their claims, it is only because things have been confused for them, because their hearts are submerged in their sins and their bad intentions, as Allah the Exalted said:[Al-Mutaffifin 83:13-14] So the one who does not know the sanctity of the Qur'an or the sanctity of the Sunnah has affliction in his heart, yes.
