Ruling on returning an insult to one who insulted in kind

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Your Eminence! What is the ruling on returning an insult to one who insulted with the same words he used;Citing the verse: and the recompense for an evil is an evil like it) [al-Shura: 40] ?
Indeed, the religion of Islam is a religion of justice,Allah Mighty and Majestic says regarding matters of good: and when you are greeted with a greeting, greet with one better than it or return it) [al-Nisa: 86] .

And He Mighty and Majestic says regarding the opposite of that: So if anyone transgresses against you, retaliate against him with the like of what he transgressed with against you) [al-Baqarah: 194] .

And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (May Allah curse the one who curses his parents,They said: O Messenger of Allah, how does a man curse his parents? He said: He abuses a man’s father, and the man abuses his father, and he abuses his mother, and the man abuses his mother) .
And this indicates that it is permissible for a person to return to his oppressor with the like of what he oppressed him with, but he must not transgress. If he forgives and makes amends, his reward is with Allah.

But here is a matter: If he falsely accuses him of zina, he must not return it with a false accusation of zina,If the transgressor said to him: saying "O fornicator" or "O sodomite," for he must not return to him with the like of that, and this is a matter that one must be careful about. But if he said: May Allah curse you,Let him say: May Allah curse you, or may Allah disgrace you,He says: May Allah disgrace you.
