Q 2: One day, I cursed my father, my mother, and my sister because of a major mistake, and they have all passed away to the mercy of Allah, may Allah have mercy on them and all the believers. I have come to hate it because of the cursing. Please advise us.
A 2: You did wrong by cursing your parents and your sister, and you committed what Allah has forbidden
of undutifulness to parents and harming your sister, and this is among the major sins. So seek forgiveness from Allah and repent to Him, and ask for mercy and forgiveness for them. Be dutiful to them by giving charity on their behalf and by being kind to those who are connected to them among the living, whether relatives or friends, so that perhaps Allah may pardon you and forgive your sin. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
