[Q:7] These are three matters: First: Allah the Mighty and Majestic spread out the earth: although it is very small in comparison to the sky; but it is spread out for the creation, flat for them,As Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Ghashiyah:20] .
Second: We cast therein firm mountains: meaning: mountains that are fixed and not shaken by the winds, so they are firmly established, and they also anchor the earth.
[Qaf 50:7] meaning: of every pair that is pleasing to the beholder, and the intended meaning of "pair" is the type,Meaning: that what grows in the earth is of many diverse types, until you see a small patch of land that contains types of these varieties that differ in their colors, differ in their sizes, and differ in their texture, between hard and soft, and other great differences, indeed they differ even in their taste if they are of the fruit-bearing kind,As Allah the Exalted said: [Ar-Ra'd:4] So who is capable of this?! It is Allah the Exalted who is capable of creating these things which contain of every beautiful pair, although they are in one place, and are watered with one water, and the earth is also one.
Who is capable of this?! You come to the grassy land in which Allah the Exalted has caused to grow of the types of plants, and you are amazed, you see this -for example- its flower is yellow, and this is white, and this is purple, and this is open, and this is organized, and other great signs, so this is the greatest evidence that Allah is capable of reviving the dead, which these disbelievers denied regarding the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and they said: [Q:3] .
So the One who is capable of creating these great creatures is capable of reviving the dead,Then it is said: Who created man? It is Allah, and the recreation is easier than the initial creation, as He the Exalted said: [Ar-Rum:27] So if you -O you polytheists- acknowledge that Allah is the Creator and that He is the One who created you and brought you into existence, why do you deny that Allah will recreate you, when His command is [Ya-Sin:82] ?!
And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind,
وَالأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَاهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَأَنْبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِنْ كُلِّ زَوْجٍ بَهِيجٍAnd at the earth - how it is spread out?
وَإِلَى الْأَرْضِ كَيْفَ سُطِحَتْSecond: We cast therein firm mountains: meaning: mountains that are fixed and not shaken by the winds, so they are firmly established, and they also anchor the earth.
and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind,
وَأَنْبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِنْ كُلِّ زَوْجٍ بَهِيجٍbut We make some of them exceed others in [quality of] fruit
وَنُفَضِّلُ بَعْضَهَا عَلَى بَعْضٍ فِي الْأُكُلِWho is capable of this?! You come to the grassy land in which Allah the Exalted has caused to grow of the types of plants, and you are amazed, you see this -for example- its flower is yellow, and this is white, and this is purple, and this is open, and this is organized, and other great signs, so this is the greatest evidence that Allah is capable of reviving the dead, which these disbelievers denied regarding the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and they said:
