The ruling on not combining the two prayers due to rain for one who does not hold the view of combining

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
If the imam of the mosque combines the 'Asr prayer with the Zuhr prayer because of heavy rain, is it permissible for one who does not hold the view of combining to leave the mosque? And what should the praying person do regarding the regular voluntary prayer (rawatib) of Zuhr?
If the imam combines Zuhr and 'Asr in the rain, and among the followers there is one who does not hold that view, let him pray with them with the intention of a voluntary prayer (nafilah); because his prayer with the intention of a voluntary prayer is a reward and a merit, and it is in agreement with the Companions, and his leaving would involve discord and disagreement, and would cause his action to be a reason for tongues to lash out at him. May Allah have mercy on a man who restrains backbiting from himself.

So we say, then: He prays with them with the intention of a voluntary prayer. As for one who combines Zuhr and 'Asr due to illness, travel, rain, or any permissible reason, he prays the post-Zuhr regular voluntary prayer (rawatib) after the 'Asr prayer, and there is no blame on him, and this is an exception. But he does not pray any other voluntary prayer; because when he prayed 'Asr, even if it was in the time of Zuhr, the time of prohibition entered for him.
