Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (And the Trumpet will be blown, and that is the Day of the Promise)]

Then he said:
And the Trumpet will be blown, and that is the Day of the Promiseوَنُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ ذَلِكَ يَوْمُ الْوَعِيدِ
[Q:20] :-The one who blows the Trumpet is: A king whom Allah the Exalted has entrusted with it, named Israfil,And the blowing of the Trumpet is two blasts: The first: the blast of the swoon: a panic precedes it, then a swoon.

The second: The blast of the resurrection: and between them are forty,And Abu Hurayrah, the narrator of the hadith, was asked: What is meant by the forty? So he said: [I do not know] meaning: I do not know what is meant by the forty mentioned by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

The important thing is that what is meant by his saying here:
and [then] the Horn will be blownوَنُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ
[Al-Kahf 18:99]
the second blast,By the evidence of his saying:
That is the Day of the Promiseذَلِكَ يَوْمُ الْوَعِيدِ
, and this means that with this blast it became the Day of Resurrection, which is the Day of the Promise.

If someone were to say: The Day of Resurrection is a Day of the Promise and a Day of the Good News. The Promise is for whom? For the disbelievers. The Good News is for whom? For the believers.
So why did Allah the Exalted mention the Promise here without the Good News? Because the entire surah begins with the denial of the deniers of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), so it was fitting that the aspect of the Promise be emphasized in it
Q and the Glorious Qur'an. * Nay, they are amazed that there has come to them a warner from among themselves.ق وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِيدِ * بَلْ عَجِبُوا أَنْ جَاءَهُمْ مُنْذِرٌ مِنْهُمْ.
[Q:1-2] to the end, so it was wise that the Promise be mentioned without the Good News, and yet Allah the Exalted mentioned the people of Paradise afterwards; because the Qur'an is a repetition.
