Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (And Paradise has been brought near to the righteous, not far away.)
) .
Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said: [Q:31] : That is, it has been brought near to the righteous in a place that is not far [Q:32] : What you see of the nearness of Paradise.
That is, this is what you are threatened with.
For indeed, Allah the Exalted has promised the believers who do good deeds Paradise, and He has kept His promise, Mighty and Majestic. But for whom? [Q:32] : The one who turns back: This is an intensive form of the verb *aaba ya'ubu*, meaning: he returned,That is, for every one who turns back to Allah, that is: returning to Him.
: That is, one who is mindful of what Allah has commanded him, and this is like the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) to 'Abdullah ibn 'Abbas: (Fear Allah and He will protect you) The meaning is that he is mindful of the commands of Allah, he does not neglect them nor meet them with laziness and delay, but he is diligent in them. And if he sins by leaving an obligatory act or committing a forbidden act, you will find him returning to Allah, : so he is one who turns back to Allah the Exalted from sins to acts of obedience,And likewise, mindful: guarding what Allah has commanded, preserving it and fulfilling it, [Q:32] .
