Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (( Guidance for the God-fearing )) and reconciling this verse with His saying: (( Guidance for mankind ))

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
And His saying:
A guidance for the righteousهدى للمتقين
Guidanceالهدى
means guidance by way of indication. The Qur'an itself does not guide with the guidance of success, but it guides with the guidance of indication
A guidance for the righteousهدى للمتقين
, in another verse
The month of Ramadhan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur'an, a guidance for the people شهر رمضان الذي أنزل فيه القرآن هدى للناس
[Al-Baqarah 2:185]
So what is the difference between this and that?
We say that as for it being guidance for mankind, this is the original principle: that the Qur'an can be a source of guidance for everyone. As for the addition of "guidance" to the God-fearing, it is because the God-fearing are those who benefited from it, so it became guidance for them. And who are the God-fearing? Those who carried out the commands of Allah and left off the prohibitions of Allah.
