Prescribed Reliance and Prohibited Reliance

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Your Eminence! And after: What is the ruling for one who says to a person whom he is sending to fulfill a need: "Go, for I rely on Allah, and then on you, to fulfill this need of mine"; because we have heard from some scholars that this statement is explicit disbelief that expels one from the religion, and what is the difference between this statement and the saying of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him): (Do not say: "What Allah willed, and so-and-so willed";But say: but rather say: "What Allah willed, and then so-and-so willed") ? May Allah reward you with good.

Reliance is of two types: The first type: Reliance in the sense of entrusting and surrendering. This is not permissible except for Allah. In this type, the one who relies believes that he is below the one he relies upon, that he is far below him. This is not valid except for Allah.

The second type: Reliance in the sense of depending on a person while believing that he is lower in rank than you, and that you can revoke his agency, and that you can depend on someone else. There is no harm in this.If you say: "Go, you are my agent," or "I have appointed you as my agent." There is no harm in this, and this is not worship.
As for reliance that is worship, such as a person relying, for example, on a dead person, or on an absent person; this is shirk (associating partners with Allah).

The questioner: O Shaykh! The intention is to fulfill needs. So he says: I appoint a legal agent! There is absolutely nothing wrong with it.

The Shaykh: He says: "I rely on Allah, and then on you."
There is nothing wrong with it.The Messenger said: (If my agent comes to you, give him such and such. If he asks you for a sign, place your hand on his neck) .
Because some of the scholars of knowledge distinguish between (thumma) in the context of will and in the context of reliance? But is the distinction in reliance that it is worship, entrustment, and absolute submission? This is not valid except for Allah. Is the meaning of "I entrusted you" that I made you my deputy in this matter? That is the case.
In that case, there is nothing wrong with it.
May Allah reward you.
