His Eminence the Shaykh: I am the imam of a mosque in Riyadh. When I recite al-Fatihah in the loud recitation, when I say: [al-Fatihah: 6] I am unable to hold the ṭāʾ. I do not know the reason for that. Do I commit a sin or not?
I will give you a rule: If you do not pronounce the ṭāʾ, your prayer is not valid;Because the scholars say: whoever leaves out a letter or a shaddah from al-Fatihah, his prayer is not valid.
A person is able to perform standing and bowing with difficulty; his back may hurt him, and if it is difficult for you, Allah will help you.
