What is the ruling on the imam’s prayer if he is unable to pronounce the letter ṭā’ in al-Fatihah?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Peace be upon you.
O esteemedThe Shaykh : I am the imam of a mosque in Riyadh. Do you hear me, Shaykh?

The Shaykh : Yes, I hear you.

The questioner : When I reach the point where I recite al-Fatihah in the loud recitation, when I say:
Guide us to the straight path - اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
[Al-Fatihah 1:6]
the word ṣirāṭ, I am unable to hold the ṭā’; I do not know the reason for that. Is there a sin on me, or?

The Shaykh : How do you mean you do not pronounce the ṭā’?

The questioner :
Guide us to the straight path - اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
[Al-Fatihah 1:6]
I prolong the ṣirāṭ with relaxation; I prolong it a lot, and I am unable to hold the letter ṭā’.

The Shaykh : I mean it drops from you.

The questioner : No, I hold it with difficulty, with hardship.

The Shaykh : I hold it with difficulty.

The questioner : Yes, but is there a sin on me, or?

The Shaykh : No, there is nothing on you. If you can pronounce it now, pronounce it now in front of me. Pronounce it in front of me. Subhan Allah.

The questioner :
Guide us to the straight path اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ
I do not hold the ṭā’ at all, even in the verse.

The Shaykh : I mean you say: Guide us to the ṣirāāā al-mustaqīm.

The questioner : ... I recite for them a normal recitation, I mean, but when I reach the mihrab, I am sometimes unable to, even though I have been doing this for 11 or 12 years.

The Shaykh : By Allah, look, my brother, I will give you a rule.

The questioner : I have been an imam for 12 years.

The Shaykh : I say: I will give you a rule: If you do not pronounce the ṭā’, your prayer is not valid, because the scholars say: Whoever leaves a letter or a shaddah in al-Fatihah, his prayer is not valid.

The questioner : I answer it, Shaykh, but with difficulty.

The Shaykh : Wait, wait. Just as a person is able to stand with difficulty, he is able to bow with difficulty until his back hurts, he does not contradict. If it is hard for you, may Allah help you.

The questioner : Your supplication, Shaykh.

The Shaykh : May Allah help you and loosen your tongue, yes.
