Denying the Prophethood of Luqman and al-Khidr

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Are Luqman and al-Khidr prophets or righteous men?

What do you think if I said: Are they prophets? Do you follow them? The questioner: No.

The Shaykh: Good. And if you say: Are they not prophets? Does it harm them in any way if they are not prophets? The questioner: No.
So what is the benefit of this research? Allah granted Luqman wisdom without a doubt,As Allah the Exalted said:
And We had certainly given Luqman wisdomوَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا لُقْمَانَ الْحِكْمَةَ
[Luqman: 12] But did Allah explicitly state that he was a prophet? And did Allah mention any people for him? No. And al-Khidr is likewise; Allah granted him knowledge that Musa did not know;To clarify to Musa that his saying: I do not know anyone on earth who is more knowledgeable than me, or rather, a person should know his own standing in this matter, so Allah prepared al-Khidr for him; and Allah, Mighty and Majestic, taught al-Khidr what was to come, as Allah related to us, and he is not a prophet. So what appears is that Luqman is not a prophet, and al-Khidr is not a prophet, just as it is also -Meaning: specifically al-Khidr - that he died in his time and has not been found until now,And some poor people say: that al-Khidr is present now, and they claim that he may attend scholarly gatherings,And they also claim some things, just as the Rafidah claimed: that 'Ali is the voice of thunder in the clouds, they claim that too, but praise be to Allah who guided us to what we differed in regarding the truth by His permission.
