Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Waqi'ah: 74] Meaning: Glorify Allah (Mighty and Majestic) with this name,Say: Subhan Rabbi al-Azim (Glory be to my Lord, the Supreme),And the meaning of tasbih (glorification) is: that Allah the Exalted is free from every deficiency and flaw,If you say: Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah),So the meaning is: I purify You, O my Lord, from every deficiency and flaw,And his statement: (the Supreme) meaning: the One possessing the utmost greatness. When this verse was revealed, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: (Make it part of your bowing),And when it was revealed: [Al-A'la: 1] He said: (Make it part of your prostration) Therefore, it is recommended for a person when he is praying and says, "Subhan Rabbi al-Azim," to keep in mind the command of Allah and the command of the Messenger of Allah; The command of Allah in His saying: [Al-Waqi'ah: 74],And the command of the Messenger in his saying: (Make it part of your bowing) so that he combines sincerity to Allah with following the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
