Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (Glory be to Allah for what is in the heavens and the earth)]

Allah, Blessed and Exalted, said: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful:
Whatever is in the heavens and earth exalts Allah, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
[Surat al-Hadid: 1] The meaning of (Glory be) is: Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is exalted above every defect and imperfection and above being likened to the created beings,Evidence of His exaltion above every defect and imperfection: The saying of Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He):
And We did certainly create the heavens and earth and what is between them in six days, and there touched Us no weariness.
[Surat Qaf: 38] (Fatigue) means weariness and exhaustion, and this indicates the perfection of His strength (Mighty and Majestic),And Allah the Exalted said:
Or do they think that We hear not their secrets and their private conversations? Yes, [We do], and Our messengers are with them recording.
[Surat al-Zukhruf: 80] ,And Allah the Exalted said:
And Allah is not unaware of what you do.
[Surat al-Baqarah: 74] So Allah exalted Himself above negligence,And Allah the Exalted said:
But Allah is not to be caused failure by anything in the heavens or on the earth. Indeed, He is ever Knowing and Competent.
[Surat Fatir: 44] So He exalted Himself above incapacity.

The important thing is that glorification means: Exalting Allah above every imperfection and defect and above being likened to the created beings,The evidence for this is the saying of Allah the Exalted:
There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the Seeing.
[Surat al-Shura: 11] .

Allah affirmed for Himself a Face in His saying:
And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor.
[Surat al-Rahman: 27] So we ask: Is the Face of Allah like the face of a created being? No.

because of His saying, the Exalted:
There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the Seeing.
[Surat al-Shura: 11] .
He affirmed for Himself that He rose above the Throne, and a person rises above a camel by riding it, settling on it, and being elevated above it, so is the rising of Allah above the Throne like the rising of a person above a camel? It is not possible:
There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the Seeing.
[Al-Shura: 11].

Therefore: Every attribute that Allah affirms for Himself and for which a created being has a counterpart, that is only a correspondence in name, whereas in reality there is nothing like Him. Allah affirmed knowledge for Himself and affirmed knowledge for the created being,Allah the Exalted said:
And if you know them to be believers
[Surat al-Mumtahanah: 10] So He affirmed knowledge for us,And He affirmed for Himself knowledge:
Allah knows that you used to deceive yourselves
[Surat al-Baqarah: 187] So is the knowledge He affirmed for Himself like the knowledge of the created being? No.

And the evidence:
There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the Seeing.
[Surat al-Shura: 11] .

Therefore:
Whatever is in the heavens and earth exalts Allah
[Al-Hadid 57:1]
(Glory be) means to exalt,And the exaltion is from two things: from imperfection, and from being likened to the created beings. Nothing from the created beings can be like Him, neither in His essence nor in His attributes. For this reason, we cannot comprehend Allah (Mighty and Majestic). We know Him through His signs, His attributes, and His actions, but we do not comprehend His reality (Mighty and Majestic), because whatever you conceive of a thing, Allah the Exalted is unlike it and not similar to it.

His statement:
whatever is in the heavens and the earthمَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ
[Surat al-Hadid: 1] Meaning: Everything in the heavens and the earth glorifies Allah (Mighty and Majestic) and exalts Him. This includes humans, jinn, angels, insects, animals, and everything. So everything in the heavens and the earth glorifies Allah.
And does it glorify Him with the tongue of speech? That he says: Subhan Allah! Or with the tongue of state, meaning: the organization of the heavens and the earth and the created beings as they are indicates the perfection of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) and His exaltion above every imperfection?
It glorifies Allah with the tongue of state and with the tongue of speech, except for the disbeliever, who glorifies Allah with the tongue of state but not with the tongue of speech, because the disbeliever describes Allah with every imperfection,He says: taking Allah as a son,And he says: or believing there is a god with Him, and perhaps he denies the Creator altogether! But his state, his creation, and his conduct are glorification of Allah (Mighty and Majestic).

Therefore: If we asked: Is the glorification of what is in the heavens and the earth with the tongue of state or with the tongue of speech?Answer: With the tongue of state and the tongue of speech, except for the disbeliever, who does it with the tongue of state but not with the tongue of speech.

Question: Do insects and animals glorify Allah with the tongue of speech?Answer: Yes.

Allah the Exalted said:
And there is not a thing except that it exalts [Allah] by His praise, but you do not understand their [way of] exaltingوَإِنْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ إِلَّا يُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِهِ وَلَكِنْ لا تَفْقَهُونَ تَسْبِيحَهُمْ
[Surat al-Isra: 44] The ant glorifies Allah with the tongue of speech. All insects glorify Allah with the tongue of speech. The pebbles glorify Allah, as was the case before the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). But the disbeliever does not glorify Allah with the tongue of speech, but rather the opposite.
