Question:
With Allah's blessing, we begin this session with a message received from the questioner (A. A. L). He says: Your Eminence, there are verses which mean that everything glorifies Allah, but we do not understand this glorification. Is it understood from these blessed verses that everything a person makes from materials taken from the earth also glorifies Allah? That is, does iron, for example, or plastic, cloth, and the like glorify Allah?
Answer:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow his guidance.
As for what follows:
So Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He)informed that everything glorifies Him with His praise. He (Exalted and Majestic is He) said:[الإسراء:44] (Inna) means: there is nothing[الإسراء:44], and this is a general statement encompassing all created things, and Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He)knows how they glorify and comprehends it, whereas we do not comprehend it. He knows the glorification of trees, or stones, or vessels, and other animals and non-animals[الإسراء:44] This is among the most general of statements. (Inna) means: there is nothing (illa) is a negation and an exception,[الإسراء:44].
It is obligatory to believe in this and to hold it to be true, even though we do not know their glorification or understand it. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good, O Shaykh.
