The weakness of the hadith: “Whoever eats a forbidden bite, his prayer will not be accepted for forty days”

His Eminence the Shaykh: A hadith you are asking about its authenticity: “Whoever eats a forbidden bite, his prayer will not be accepted for forty days”?
This is not authentic, but there is no doubt that eating forbidden food has an effect on the rejection of supplication and its non-acceptance; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned (the man who travels a long distance, disheveled and covered in dust,He stretches his hands toward the sky: saying: O Lord! O Lord! Yet his food is forbidden, his clothing is forbidden, and he is nourished with what is forbidden,He said: so how will he be answered?) And the meaning of (how will he be answered) is: how will he be answered? The interrogative here is for improbability,Meaning: making it very unlikely that Allah will answer him.
