Clarification that the one who consumes what is forbidden will not have his supplication accepted, and the evidence for this.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Because the one who consumes what is forbidden will not have his supplication accepted, may Allah protect us from that. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, Allah is Good and accepts only that which is good. And Allah commanded the believers with what He commanded the messengers, saying: "O messengers, eat from the good things and do righteous deeds." And He said: "O you who believe, eat from the good things We have provided for you and be grateful to Allah." Then He mentioned the man who lengthens his journey, disheveled and covered in dust, stretching his hands to the sky, saying, "O my Lord, O my Lord," while his food is forbidden, his clothing is forbidden, and he is sustained by what is forbidden. He said, "How will that be accepted?" Even though he calls upon Allah raising his hands, while he is traveling and disheveled and covered in dust, all the causes for acceptance are present, and yet the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) says:
How will that be accepted?
Why? Because he consumes what is forbidden; his food, his clothing, and his sustenance are from what is forbidden. He said:
How then will it be answered?
. So I am amazed at these people; you find them striving for good, but their desires have overcome them and they have fallen into riba (usury or interest), either explicitly or by way of a ruse.
