Exegesis of His saying, the Exalted: (Indeed, We sent Our messengers with clear proofs and We sent down with them the Book)

Allah the Exalted said:
We have already sent Our messengers with clear evidences and sent down with them the Scripture and the balance that the people may maintain [their affairs] in justice. And We sent down iron, wherein is great military might and benefits for the people, and so that Allah may make evident those who support Him and His messengers unseen. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.
[Al-Hadid: 25] .

His saying, Exalted and Majestic is He:
We have already sent Our messengers with clear evidences
[Al-Hadid 57:25]
This is a sentence affirmed by the letter lam, the word qad, and the implied oath; because in a sentence like this, an oath is implied, and the implied meaning is: and by Allah, indeed We sent Our messengers with clear proofs,And perhaps one of you will say: How does Allah the Mighty and Majestic swear an oath? How does Allah affirm His news with an oath when He is the Truthful without it?This is a point of difficulty, and the answer is to say: The Noble Qur'an was revealed in a clear Arabic language, and the clear Arabic language affirms important matters or denied matters with types of affirmations so that the addressee is reassured and the stubborn one does not persist in his denial,So here we say:
We have already sent Our messengers with clear evidences
[Al-Hadid: 25] and the implied meaning of the speech is: By Allah, indeed We sent Our messengers with clear proofs, and this is repeated often in the Qur'an, and the implied meaning is as you have heard.
We have already sent Our messengers with clear evidences
[Al-Hadid 57:25]
Meaning: We gave them the revelation and commanded them to convey it to the people, this messenger.

And his statement:
with clear proofsبِالْبَيِّنَاتِ
Meaning: With clear, evident signs indicating that they are messengers from Allah.

An example of that is: Allah the Exalted sent Musa to Pharaoh and gave him clear signs,Allah the Exalted said:
And We had certainly given Moses nine evident signs, so ask the Children of Israel [about] when he came to themوَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى تِسْعَ آيَاتٍ بَيِّنَاتٍ فَاسْأَلْ بَنِي إِسْرائيلَ إِذْ جَاءَهُمْ
[Al-Isra: 101] among them: the wondrous staff, an ordinary staff containing signs, among the signs of Allah in it is that when the skilled, excellent magicians gathered by the command of Pharaoh and his support, and they threw their ropes and their staffs, and these ropes and staffs became as if they were snakes and vipers, terrifying the people, until Musa (peace be upon him) felt fear in his soul; because it was beyond what one could imagine, skilled magicians who came with all their power and filled the earth with ropes and staffs, and these ropes and staffs became as if they were snakes and vipers,
and when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people and struck terror into them, and they presented a great [feat of] magic.
[Al-A'raf: 116] Allah revealed to him to throw the staff, so he threw it, and this staff turned into a great snake, and it began to swallow what they fabricated of the ropes they brought, this snake ate them, and this is among the great signs of Allah, how can this snake eat all this world? Where does it go? But it is -Allah knows best- as soon as it eats them, it becomes like vapor and goes away, otherwise the belly of this snake would not hold them, but this is a sign! You now imagine this event as a report, but what would you think if you saw it with your eyes? The matter would be more severe and greater, we now do not imagine it except in the report and the mind only, but if you witnessed the subject, you would know that it is a great sign.

The second sign in this staff: That Musa asked his people for water -Meaning: they asked him for water - so he struck a stone from the stones and it gushed forth twelve springs, water springs from this stone which he struck with the staff; because the Children of Israel were twelve tribes, is this not a sign? Yes, a mute stone from which springs gush without a digger and without anything, a sign among the signs of Allah.

The third sign: That Musa (peace be upon him) when Pharaoh caught up with him and drove him to the sea, the companions of Musa were certain that they would perish,And they said:
Indeed, we are overtaken
[Al-Shu'ara: 61] we have no escape, the sea is before us, if we enter it we will drown, and Pharaoh and his soldiers are behind us, they will destroy us,
the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!"
[Al-Shu'ara: 61] but look at the faith and certainty:
He said, "No!قَالَ كَلَّا
[Al-Shu'ara: 62] We will not be overtaken
Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me."إِنَّ مَعِيَ رَبِّي سَيَهْدِينِ
[Al-Shu'ara: 62] Meaning: He will guide me to what is in salvation, so Allah revealed to him
"Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted
[Al-Shu'ara: 63] he struck the sea once with the staff and it split into twelve paths according to the number of the tribes of the Children of Israel
and each portion was like a great towering mountain.
[Al-Shu'ara: 63] Meaning: like the great mountain, the land immediately dried
and strike for them a dry path through the seaفَاضْرِبْ لَهُمْ طَرِيقاً فِي الْبَحْرِ يَبَساً
[Ta-Ha: 77] and the water was on their right and on their left like mountains, and look at the faith also, how they entered these paths and the water was on their right and on their left, but it is the faith; because they knew that they would be saved and it was necessary, this is among the signs of Allah the Exalted.
'Isa ibn Maryam (peace be upon him) Allah gave him clear signs, he cured the blind and the leper by the permission of Allah, and these two diseases have no remedy for doctors to this day, except perhaps the blind, 'Isa used to bring the dead to life by the permission of Allah,He says to the funeral procession in front of the people: I bring to life, so they live by the permission of Allah, he used to bring the dead out of their graves, he would stand over the grave and command the owner of the grave to come out alive, who can do this except Allah the Exalted? He made it a sign for this prophet.

He used to create from clay in the form of a bird and blow into it, and it would fly! Allah the Exalted said:
and it becomes a bird by permission of Allahفَيَكُونُ طَيْراً بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ
[Al-Imran: 49] and in a second reading: it becomes a bird, and if you combine the two readings, it becomes a bird by the permission of Allah that flies; because not every bird flies, the ostrich has wings but it does not fly, but it becomes a bird that flies, seen in the sky, and he created it from clay! Who is capable of this?! And after death and creation from nothing, this is not capable of except Allah, He made it a sign for 'Isa.

If someone were to say: Why did Allah single out Musa with the staff and single out 'Isa with bringing the dead to life and creating birds? The scholars said: Indeed, Allah the Exalted is Wise, He makes for every prophet from the signs what suits the time and the condition of the people so that He makes them unable to do anything,They say: Indeed, magic reached a far limit in the time of Musa; so Allah showed them a sign that they were unable to match with their magic, for this reason, in the story of Musa, the magicians who knew magic could not control themselves except to believe
And the magicians fell down in prostration [to Allah].
[Al-A'raf: 120] they did not prostrate as if without choice, they were astonished and prostrated,And they declared:
We have believed in the Lord of the worlds, (122) The Lord of Moses and Aaron."آمَنَّا بِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ * رَبِّ مُوسَى وَهَارُونَ
[Al-A'raf: 121-122] .
'Isa (peace be upon him) medicine reached a great height in his time, so Allah the Exalted gave him a sign that doctors cannot bring the like of.
As for Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), he was sent in the time of great eloquence which reached the highest in the Arabs, and the Arabic language is the most eloquent of languages and the most indicative of what is in the heart, so Allah the Exalted sent him with a Noble Qur'an that made the Arabs unable to bring the like of it, and no one will bring the like of it, neither the jinn nor the humans,Allah, Mighty and Majestic, said:
Say, "If mankind and the jinn gathered in order to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like of it, even if they were to each other assistants."
[Al-Isra: 88] and even if some of them helped others, they would not bring the like of it, and Allah the Exalted is truthful, the Qur'an is the speech of Allah, so just as there is nothing like Allah, His speech is not like any speech,
We have already sent Our messengers with clear evidences
[Al-Hadid: 25] and in the hadith from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family): (That Allah the Exalted did not send a prophet except that He gave him from the signs what humans would believe in its like until the argument is established.
He said: And what I was given is revelation that Allah revealed to me, so I hope to be the most followed of them) and what was expected happened and praise be to Allah, and the most followed of the prophets is Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family); because his greatest sign is the Great Qur'an, the Great Qur'an remains and all people read it and deduce from it signs by which they increase in faith and know by it the truthfulness of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).

If someone were to say: What is the need for giving the prophets signs? Here the need is real, indeed it is a necessity, indeed it is for the intellect also,Because it is not of sound mind for a person to come and say: He is a messenger and then he is followed, there must be a proof indicating that he is a messenger.

If a person came in a nation other than the nation of Muhammad (peace be upon him) and said: He is a messenger and did not bring a sign, then the people are excused if they do not follow him, otherwise everyone would claim to be a messenger, but after the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), prophethood was cut off because he was the Seal of the Prophets, therefore it is necessary that there be with the prophets signs indicating their truthfulness, and the correctness of what they brought from the Shari'ah.
and sent down with them the Scripture and the balanceوَأَنْزَلْنَا مَعَهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْمِيزَانَ
[Al-Hadid: 25] (The Book) The revelation that Allah the Exalted revealed to him, and there is no messenger except that he has a book, unlike the prophet, for the prophet may not have a book with him, but the messenger must have a book with him; because he is a messenger, he must give the people he calls what they can see with their own eyes,And his statement: (The Book) Is it one or is the meaning the genus? The meaning is the genus,Meaning: the books,Because he said:
Our messengers with clear evidences and sent down with them the Scripture
[Al-Hadid: 25] it is not one book, but every messenger has a book with him,And his statement:
and the balanceوَالْمِيزَانَ
[Al-Hadid: 25] Meaning: justice, by which things are weighed and their value and condition are known, and this clearly indicates that correct analogical reasoning is among what the messengers were sent with, because analogical reasoning is equating a branch with a root in a ruling for a common cause,And Allah the Mighty and Majestic said:
and sent down with them the Scripture and the balanceوَأَنْزَلْنَا مَعَهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْمِيزَانَ
[Al-Hadid: 25] Meaning: justice and comparison between matters.
that the people may maintain [their affairs] in justiceلِيَقُومَ النَّاسُ بِالْقِسْطِ
[Al-Hadid: 25] That is: so that people may establish justice in religion and in worldly affairs, in the right of Allah and in the rights of His servants. So what is justice in the right of Allah? Justice in the right of Allah is what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) mentioned to Mu'adh ibn Jabal when he said to him: (Do you know, O Mu'adh, what is the right of Allah upon His servants, and what is the right of His servants upon Allah? He said: Allah and His Messenger know best,He said: The right of Allah upon His servants is that they worship Him and do not associate anything with Him, and the right of His servants upon Allah is that He does not punish whoever does not associate anything with Him) His saying: (That He does not punish whoever worships Him and does not associate anything with Him) H
