What is the correct detailed explanation of Allah's saying: "Upon couches, they look"?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : ...may you be well.

The questioner : If Allah wills, I am well.

The Shaykh: May Allah reward you.

The questioner : May Allah bless you.

The Shaykh : You are welcome.

The questioner : Regarding our Shaykh's question on the issue of looking in the creed.

The Shaykh: Go ahead.

The questioner : Our Shaykh, I asked you this question before, but I truly did not benefit from the answer and was unable to speak because we were in a session... I mean... May Allah reward you. The question is Allah's saying, the Exalted:
On adorned couches, observing. عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ يَنْظُرُونَ
[Al-Mutaffifin 83:23]
Its apparent meaning is that the looking is continuous.

The Shaykh: Yes.

The questioner : The apparent meaning of this verse.

The Shaykh: Yes.

The questioner : As the Salaf interpreted it, the looking is at Allah, but the apparent meaning of this verse is that it is continuous, or that this is possible for them permanently. The hadith that says, or the hadith that informs that they see Him one day in the week, which is Friday, is permissible in that, or indicates that this is one day in the week. So how do we reconcile this hadith with this verse?

The Shaykh : And the verse is:
On adorned couches, observing. عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ يَنْظُرُونَ
[Al-Mutaffifin 83:23]
.

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : They look at what?

The questioner : I mean, they look at Allah, the same interpretation as the Salaf.

The Shaykh: Yes.

The questioner : They look at Allah.

The Shaykh : How do you know that?

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : How do you know that?

The questioner : This is the interpretation of the Salaf, our Shaykh, or not? Did you agree to this on the day of the session?

The Shaykh : No, I do not think so, because you yourself said that the session was brief and so on.

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : They look at the blessings of Paradise, my brother.

The questioner : They look at the blessings of Paradise.

The Shaykh : Yes, and the problem fell from the root because you returned the pronoun to Allah, so the problem arose. But the problem was based on a mistaken understanding of the verse.

The questioner : Ah, I mean, the pronoun refers to the blessings of Paradise, not to Allah.

The Shaykh : Yes, exactly.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : And may Allah protect you, if Allah wills.

The questioner : Well, peace be upon you.

The Shaykh : And upon you be peace, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
