Exegesis of His saying, the Exalted: (Upon couches, they look on)

Allah the Exalted said:
On adorned couches, observing.عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ يَنْظُرُونَ
[Al-Mutaffifin: 23] (Al-Ara'ik) is the plural of arikah, and she: the ornate, decorated bed upon which is placed something like a canopy, and it is of the most luxurious types of beds. So they are on these soft, beautiful, and splendid beds. (They look on) means: they look upon what Allah has bestowed upon them of a bliss that souls do not perceive now.
And no soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyesفَلا تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌ مَا أُخْفِيَ لَهُمْ مِنْ قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍ
[Al-Sajdah: 17] And some scholars said: This looking includes even looking at the Face of Allah, and they made this verse one of the proofs for the establishment of seeing Allah the Exalted in Paradise.

Allah the Exalted said:
You will recognize in their faces the radiance of pleasure.تَعْرِفُ فِي وُجُوهِهِمْ نَضْرَةَ النَّعِيمِ
[Al-Mutaffifin: 24] You, O you who look at them, know (in their faces, the radiance of bliss) meaning: the beauty and splendor of bliss,Meaning: Indulgence.
and you are witnessing now in this world that the faces of the blessed and the affluent are not like the faces of the toiling workers; you find them radiant, beautiful, and blessed. So the people of Paradise are known by the (radiance of bliss) in their faces, meaning: the enjoyment and joy; for they are the most joyful and the most blessed of all.
