Is it permissible to send the price of the sacrificial animals to a man’s family in one country while he is in another, and to appoint someone to act on his behalf?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : A questioner says: “May the Shaykh be respected, we are not from the people of this generous land. I ask Allah to sustain its goodness and to preserve its scholars and its rulers. The question is: May the Shaykh be respected, it is not hidden from you that our people are in great need of sacrificial animals and the benefit of their meat and skins, and poverty is the norm among them. Is it permissible for us to send them the price of the sacrificial animals and appoint someone to act on our behalf, knowing that the intention is to display this religious practice? Is it permissible for us to do this?”

The Shaykh : Yes, if a person is in one country and his family is in another, there is no blame on him for appointing someone to sacrifice on his behalf with his family, so that he may bring joy to his family with the sacrifice and they may enjoy it. Because if he sacrificed in the land of his sojourn, who would eat the sacrificial animal? Perhaps he would not find anyone to give charity to. Therefore, we see that whoever has family should send the value of the sacrificial animal to them and have them sacrifice there.
