A man who is negligent in the congregational prayer, knowing it is obligatory, and a person living with him has advised him; does living with him count as participating in this evil?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : He says: May the Shaykh be respected, a man is negligent in the congregational prayer and knows with full certainty that it is obligatory. I have spoken to him repeatedly, knowing that I live with him in the same house. Does my living with him count as participating in this evil? Please give me a ruling, may Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : It is not considered participation in this evil as long as you are trying for Allah to guide him through your hands. Stay with him and try to reform him, and help him against his own self by waking him up when you get up. Perhaps Allah will guide him through your hand, and that will be good for you and for him. However, if he persists in his disobedience, I see that you should separate from him and seek another place so that you are safe from his evil. Yes.
