Acting upon this Islam and calling to it, even with a single verse.

The Shaykh : We must apply this Islam, which Allah has bestowed upon us, in ourselves, in our families, in our neighbors, in the people of our land, and in all Islamic lands to the best of our ability. It is not required for a person to reach a high level of knowledge in this regard; one may call to Islam even with a single verse, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: even with a single verse. Every person can fulfill the right of Islam by calling to it and implementing it in himself, his family, his neighbors, and all Muslims with ease, but with sincerity. One must uphold the right of Islam in the mosque, because we see in the mosque people who neglect some of the matters of Islam. So we must uphold the right of Islam in the mosques. We advise our Muslim brothers, but with gentleness, wisdom, and forbearance. We advise them not to criticize them, but to guide and direct them. As for advising them by way of criticism, self-assertion, and taking revenge against them, that is of no benefit. The advisor who upholds the right of Islam is the one who advises Allah’s servants to reform them, not to criticize them, and this is what is beneficial.
