My problem and my complaint, which I pour out to Allah and then to you: a person who constantly falls into a major sin and tries to repent with sincerity, devotion, and determination, but then returns to it

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The questioner says: Your Eminence, my problem and my complaint, which I pour out to Allah and then to you: a person who constantly falls into a major sin and tries to repent with sincerity, devotion, and determination, but then returns to it. What is the ailment and the cure in your view?

The Shaykh : The remedy and the cure is to repent to Allah. Whenever he sins, he should repent to Allah, for Allah the Exalted accepts the repentance of those who repent. However, after repenting, he should avoid the causes that lead to this sin, keeping his distance from them so that he is safe from their evil. He should seek help from Allah the Mighty and Sublime, and constantly ask Allah the Exalted for steadfastness in his repentance. Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, is Generous. He only wants to give you good news: whenever he sins, seeks forgiveness, and repents with a true repentance in which Allah knows he is sincere, then Allah will accept his repentance. Yes.
