Repeating 'Umrah in a single trip.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : So I say: 'Umrah in Ramadan is a recommended practice. But people make mistakes in it, they make mistakes in things we will mention. First: some of them take an 'Umrah for themselves as soon as they arrive. And if two or three days remain, he goes out to al-Tan'īm and takes a second 'Umrah. For whom? For his mother. And if two or three days remain, he takes a third 'Umrah. For whom? For his father. And if he takes two or three days, he takes a fourth 'Umrah. For whom? For his grandmother. And so on. And perhaps some of them take two 'Umrahs in one day. And you find his head bald, having shaved it in the first time, then he performs 'Umrah again. And what remains for the second 'Umrah? Yes? Nothing, except one single reprehensible thing. I saw a man walking between al-Safa and al-Marwah, and he had shaved exactly half of his head. The shaved half was white, with no hair. And the other half had thick hair. So I said to him, why? He said: This is what I shaved for yesterday's 'Umrah. And this is for today's 'Umrah. Yes? And according to his reasoning, if he wanted to perform 'Umrah four times, right? He would shave a quarter. Yes? And the second quarter, and the third quarter, and the fourth the whole head. All of this is from error. And its cause is people's love for good, but their ignorance of the Shari'ah. And it is known, my brothers, that worship must have two basic conditions, which are: sincerity and following [the Prophet]. Are they more eager for good than the Companions? No, by Allah, they are not more eager. They are not more eager. And they are not more knowledgeable of the Shari'ah of Allah than the Companions. So let them bring one hadith that the Companions repeated 'Umrah in Ramadan, or not in Ramadan either. If they bring it, we will look into it. But if the matter contains not a single letter, neither authentic nor weak, indicating that the Companions repeat 'Umrah in Ramadan or otherwise, then when a person exits from his 'Umrah, he goes out to al-Tan'īm and comes with another 'Umrah. Until 'Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) — and he was a jurist of the people of Makkah — said: "I do not know these people who go to al-Tan'īm and come with an 'Umrah. I do not know, do they sin or are they rewarded?" He says: I do not know, do they sin or are they rewarded, meaning it seems they have no reward except the fatigue, and I seek refuge in Allah, because they are not on the Shari'ah. This is one point.
