Is it permissible for the one in i'tikaf (spiritual retreat in the mosque) to go to his home to eat or to take a full ritual bath?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Is it permissible for the one in i'tikaf (spiritual retreat in the mosque) to go to his home to eat or to take a full ritual bath?

The Shaykh : Yes, it is permissible for the one in i'tikaf (spiritual retreat in the mosque) to go to his home to eat if he does not have someone to bring food to him. If he has someone to bring food to him in the mosque, he does not go out, because the one in i'tikaf (spiritual retreat in the mosque) does not go out except for a matter that is absolutely necessary for him.
As for taking a full ritual bath, if it is due to major ritual impurity, it is obligatory for him to go out, because taking a full ritual bath is absolutely necessary. If it is not due to major ritual impurity but to cool off, he does not go out, because this is a matter for which there is an alternative.
