Is it permissible for the one in i'tikaf (spiritual retreat in the mosque) to leave the mosque to eat or to take a bath in the restrooms?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Is it permissible for the one in i'tikaf (spiritual retreat in the mosque) to leave the mosque to eat or to take a bath in the restrooms?

The Shaykh : Yes, if he does not have someone to bring him food, there is no harm in him going out and eating outside the mosque, because this is a dire necessity.
As for if he has someone to bring him food and drink, the drink is available, praise be to Allah, in the mosques. But if he has someone to bring him food, he also goes out to eat. Likewise, he goes out for the obligatory bath, such as the bath for Jumu'ah (the Friday prayer).
As for what is not obligatory, it is not permissible for him to go out for it unless he had stipulated that.
