The questioner : He says: May Allah benefit Islam and the Muslims through you, O honorable Shaykh.
The Shaykh : Amen.
The questioner : A man is married to a woman who is negligent in the Fajr prayer. She does not pray Fajr except with the Zuhr prayer. Her husband keeps waking her up for more than an hour but to no avail. So what do you advise him, may Allah preserve you? I ask you to call upon Allah for her guidance.
The Shaykh : We ask Allah for her guidance and that He help her husband with her. It is obligatory for him to try, as much as possible, to wake her for the Fajr prayer, and to order her to sleep early, because the affliction that befalls many people today regarding the Fajr prayer is late sleeping, late sleeping. And a person’s body needs sleep. So we ask Allah for guidance for everyone. And we ask Allah the Exalted to make our gathering a blessed gathering, for He is capable of all things.
