What is your advice to one who prepares for the month of Ramadan by buying a satellite dish—meaning a satellite dish—so that he does not miss the programs it broadcasts?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : He says: May Allah preserve you, O honorable Shaykh, what is your advice to one who prepares for the month of Ramadan by buying a satellite dish, meaning a satellite dish, so that he does not miss the programs it broadcasts, and what is your advice to those who have that device in their homes? I ask for guidance, may Allah guide you.

The Shaykh : The guidance, in truth, from me and from other scholars, and praise be to Allah, ... the Shaykhs warn against this satellite dish, and I thought it was a food dish to welcome Ramadan, that was the first time I heard it. In any case: this dish, in Ramadan and in other times, has undoubtedly destroyed morals, corrupted beliefs, and led many of Allah’s servants astray. In Ramadan, its sin will be more severe, because Ramadan is a season of good; if a person wastes it by watching these evils, he wastes something great, and he wastes the benefit of fasting, about which the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whoever does not give up forged speech and evil actions and does not abandon foolishness, Allah is not in need of his leaving food and drink من لم يدع قول الزور والعمل به والجهل، فليس لله حاجة في أن يدع طعامه وشرابه
Bulugh al-Maram 5:14
. What a Muslim should do is seize the opportunity of Ramadan by reciting the Qur'an, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to review the Qur'an with Jibril in Ramadan until he completed it, and in the year he died, he reviewed it with him twice. If one does not recite the Qur'an well, then [he should do] dhikr: Subhan Allah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaha illa Allah, and Allahu Akbar. Allah the Exalted said:
Wealth and children are [but] adornment of the worldly life. But the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord الْمَالُ وَالْبَنُونَ زِينَةُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَالْبَاقِيَاتُ الصَّالِحَاتُ خَيْرٌ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ
[Al-Kahf 18:46]
Many scholars interpreted the "remaining good deeds" as the glorification, the praise, and the magnification. He should also fill it with the Duha prayer and night prayer, and take advantage of this blessed month with righteous deeds. Yes.
