When I begin the prayer and in the middle of it I sometimes doubt whether my ablution has been broken, and for that reason I perform the ablution twice or more, and the cause of the breaking of the ablution is a discharge from the back

The questioner : When I begin the prayer and in the middle of it I sometimes doubt whether my ablution has been broken, and for that reason I perform the ablution twice or more, and the cause of the breaking of the ablution, he says, is a discharge from the back. We ask you for guidance?
The Shaykh : The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) answered this question when he was asked about a man who imagines that he finds something in his prayer, so he said:Sahih Muslim 361 So as long as you are in the obligatory prayer and this doubt comes to you, whether you have broken your state of purity or not, it is not permissible for you to leave it. Rather, it is obligatory for you to continue in your prayer until you finish, except if you are certain that something has come out. If you are certain of that, then you must leave, and it is not permissible for you to continue after you have broken your state of purity. This hadith by which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) issued a ruling for us is a great principle among the principles of the Shari'ah, which is: "Certainty is not removed by doubt, and the original state remains as it was" So as long as the state of purity is certain, it is not removed by doubt. And as long as it remains, the original state is its continuation until its removal is established. In this hadith there is relief for the person and tranquility for the soul, where he remains far from whispers and doubts, because with this hadith he discards the doubt and builds upon what he is certain of, which is the state of purity.
As for if one is certain of the breaking of the state of purity during the prayer, then it is obligatory for him to leave it. This is a matter that may occur during the prayer, and some people remain in their prayer if they are in a congregational mosque because they are shy to leave their prayer in front of people. And this is an error, for Allah the Exalted is more worthy of being feared and more worthy of being shy of. And in this case, I mean if a breaking of the state of purity occurs during the prayer and the person is in congregation, he leaves and puts his hand on his nose as if he has a nosebleed, so that the shyness and modesty are removed from him. Then he performs the ablution and returns to the mosque to catch up with the congregation for what remains of the prayer.
The Shaykh : The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) answered this question when he was asked about a man who imagines that he finds something in his prayer, so he said:
He should not return (from prayer) unless he hears a sound or perceives a smell (of passing wind).
