The questioner : He is asking about the saying of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him):
Verily, in Paradise there is a tree, a rider will travel in it's shade for a hundred years. إن في الجنة لشجرة يسير الراكب في ظلها مئة سنة
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2523Sahih (Darussalam)
In another narration, it was added:
He would not reach its end لا يقطعها
The reality is that he did not complete the hadith. Does he want an explanation of this hadith?

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and I send prayers and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions.
In this hadith, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) refers to an example of the blessings in the Garden of Pleasure. That is, in Paradise there is a tree in whose shade a traveler would travel for a hundred years without reaching its end. This is evidence of the length of this tree, and that in Paradise there are great trees that the mind cannot comprehend. This is part of the meaning of the saying of Allah the Exalted:
And no soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes as reward for what they used to do. فلا تعلم نفس ما أخي لهم من قرة أعين جزاءً بما كانوا يعملون
[As-Sajdah 32:17]
And His saying in the Qudsi Hadith:
I have prepared for My righteous slaves (such excellent things) as no eye has ever seen, nor an ear has ever heard nor a human heart can ever think of. أعددت لعبادي الصالحين ما لا عين رأت ولا أذن سمعت ولا خطر على قلب بشر
Sahih al-Bukhari 7498
. Everything mentioned regarding Paradise, such as fruits, meat, water, honey, milk, wine, spouses, and others, does not resemble or equal what is in this world; it only corresponds to it in name, as Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) said: “There is nothing in the world of what is in Paradise except the names”. As for the things named and the reality of these named things, it is a matter that cannot be comprehended in this world. Whatever pleasure comes to your mind, the pleasure of Paradise is greater, more noble, and more complete. Sufficient for that is the saying of Allah the Exalted:
(16) But you prefer the worldly life, (17) While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. بل تؤثرون الحياة الدنيا والآخرة خير وأبقى
[Al-A'la 87:16-17]
