Tayammum is a purifier, not a mere permission, and the difference between the two.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And in His saying, the Exalted:
Allah does not intend to make difficulty for you, but He intends to purify you مَا يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ لِيَجْعَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ حَرَجٍ وَلَكِنْ يُرِيدُ لِيُطَهِّرَكُمْ
[Al-Ma'idah 5:6]
there is evidence that tayammum is a purifier, not a mere permission as some scholars have held.
-Pay attention, my brother-
Tayammum is a purifier, not a mere permission.
The difference between the two views: those who say it is a mere permission say: it is restricted by time and type.
How is it restricted by time and type?
He says: for example, if you perform tayammum for prayer and the time passes, your tayammum becomes invalid, and if you perform tayammum for a voluntary prayer, you cannot pray the obligatory prayer, because the type of obligatory prayers is higher than the type of voluntary prayers.
But the correct view is that tayammum is a purifier, and on this basis, if you perform tayammum for a voluntary prayer, you can pray the obligatory prayer with it.
If you perform tayammum for prayer and its time passes without you praying, the tayammum does not become invalid.
Therefore, a person can pray all five prayers with a single tayammum, if a man performs tayammum for the Fajr prayer and remains in a state of purity until Zuhr, then 'Asr comes, then Maghrib, then 'Isha', and his purity has not been broken, he can pray all the prayers.
A minute.
