Is it permissible to pray the obligatory prayer using tayammum and to perform several voluntary prayers and confirmed sunnah prayers with that same tayammum?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Is it permissible to pray the obligatory prayer using tayammum and to perform several voluntary prayers and confirmed sunnah prayers with that same tayammum?

The Shaykh : Yes, it is permissible for a person who performs tayammum for a prayer to pray several obligatory or voluntary prayers with that tayammum, whether he prays them within the time of the prayer for which he performed tayammum or in another time. For example, if he performs tayammum for the Zuhr prayer and remains in a state of purity until the time for 'Asr enters, he prays 'Asr without repeating the tayammum, because the stronger opinion is that tayammum is not invalidated by the end of the time. Likewise, if he remains in a state of purity in this case until the time for Maghrib enters, he prays Maghrib with the tayammum performed for Zuhr. Similarly, if he remains in a state of purity until 'Isha', he prays 'Isha' with the tayammum performed for Zuhr, because tayammum is not invalidated except by the invalidators of wudu' that invalidate the purity of water.
Unless he finds water, if his tayammum was due to the absence of water, then he must perform wudu' with it. Likewise, if his tayammum was due to an illness and he recovers from it, then he must perform wudu' with water.

The questioner : May Allah bless you.
