The questioner: In a shop, I mean, what is the opinion of the religion regarding this?

The questioner: That a person works in a shop where he irons clothes?!

The questioner: Ah, I mean he irons all kinds of clothes, women’s dresses, suits, trousers, dishdashas, abayas, everything!

The Shaykh: If he is ironing things that assist in open sinfulness and a woman’s display of her adornment, it is not permissible!

The questioner: Yes, well, if for example, regarding men’s clothes, everything, I mean men’s clothes, there is nothing wrong with them, suits, trousers?!

The Shaykh: Wearing trousers is not permissible!
