The practice of cauterization and the death of a child after cauterization

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa No. ( 17208 )
Q: I inform Your Eminence that I am a woman who cauterizes boys. One day, some people who had a very sick child invited me and said, "Cauterize him." I cauterized him, and after a few moments, this child died. My question is: Is there any sin on me for this act, and is there an expiation on me for this soul, even though he was in the illness of death before I cauterized him? This is with Allah
who preserves you.

A: If the matter is as mentioned, and the cauterization that you performed on the child is what is customary for boys of his kind, then there is nothing on you. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
