The ruling on praying in clothing that contains blood

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner says in his final questions: Is it permissible to pray alone in the mosque wearing work clothes, such as a butcher’s, with blood on the garment, and other professions? Please tell us about this in light of this question, O Noble Shaykh, and we ask for a word?

Answer:
It is obligatory for the believer not to pray except in pure clothing. The butcher does not pray in clothing that contains blood, because blood is ritually impure. Likewise, every person with a profession must have his clothes pure and free from defects when praying, so that there is no impurity in them. This is because one of the conditions of prayer is that the clothes of the one praying are pure and his body is pure. Therefore, neither the butcher nor anyone else may pray in clothing that contains blood, or urine, or any other impurities. Rather, he must pray in pure clothing and with a pure body. Yes.
And likewise, the body must be pure. Yes.

The presenter: Is there a word, O Noble Shaykh, for those who actually pray... the workers and others, O Shaykh?

The Shaykh: Yes, we advise everyone to fear Allah and to pray as Allah has prescribed, and to beware of being lax in this, whether regarding the barrier or the body. The body should be clean and the clothing should be clean and free from impurities. It is obligatory for them to pray in congregation. It is obligatory for workers to pray in congregation in the mosques and then return to their work. We ask Allah for guidance for everyone.

The presenter: O Allah, amen.
