What is the ruling on returning to the lands of disbelief and foreignness from the lands of Islam to earn money?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Well, my Shaykh, regarding my age, I have come from America to the lands of the Muslims to settle, learn the religion, and work. Working in Jordan is very difficult, to the point that it is almost impossible to open a house, settle down, and get married. I heard you say that going to the lands of the disbelievers is a type of apostasy. Is it permissible for me to return to work, save up some money, and then come back here?

The Shaykh : First, we never advise you to return to the place from which Allah saved you. I advise you, always and forever, to keep before your eyes the saying of Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He):
And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out (3) And will provide for him from where he does not expect. وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ مَخْرَجًا * وَيَرْزُقْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَحْتَسِبُ
[At-Talaq 65:2-3]
. Our Lord (Mighty and Majestic) does not forget His servants. Then you must remember the saying of Allah (Mighty and Majestic):
And We test you with evil and with good as trial وَنَبْلُوكُمْ بِالشَّرِّ وَالْخَيْرِ فِتْنَةً
[Al-Anbya 21:35]
,
And We test you with evil and with good as trial وَنَبْلُوكُمْ بِالشَّرِّ وَالْخَيْرِ فِتْنَةً
[Al-Anbya 21:35]
, meaning: if our Lord (Mighty and Majestic) has decreed and restricted the provision of one of His servants, this does not mean that He is not pleased with him; rather, it is Allah (Mighty and Majestic), as it came in some hadiths:
If He loves a servant, He tests him, and He hears his supplication and his complaint. إذا أحبَّ عبدًا ابتلاه يسمع تضرُّعه وشكواه
. Therefore, since you have not yet found work, be patient, and there is no patience for you except through Allah.

The questioner : He is patient and searches.

The Shaykh : Ah, that is it.

The questioner : This...

The Shaykh : As for merely because you did not find work, you return to the lands of disbelief; this is a losing matter, and by Allah, it is a setback.

The questioner : My intention was that it was my wish to live.
The student : Take the right, right, on the right, on the right.

The questioner : My intention when I emigrated from America was that I would be able to stay in al-Madinah al-Munawwarah, but from one aspect.

The Shaykh : Take a lesson from me. My situation with the Saudis is strange. First, regarding the creed, and second, regarding my specialization in hadith, they were not pleased with it there. But there is a government that is not pleased with it. So what do you say about your brother? I submitted a request a few years ago, just a permit to enter for 'Umrah or Hajj, to overcome these obstacles. When it seemed to me that I would settle in either Makkah or al-Madinah, I was to have this permit. It reached the King, then the Ministry of Interior, and it died there. So what do I do? I am content with the decree and destiny of Allah. And now you see that although I am sitting in my hermitage, if that is the correct expression, you find people digging up and trying to cling to words to stir up intense hostility between us and the ruling, in order to repeat the previous round where they exiled us from here to Syria, and what happened happened. Therefore, I think you are originally Jordanian.
The student : Yes, yes, born in Amman.

The Shaykh : So... your matter is very easy. As for me, I am still a stranger.
The student : Blessed are the strangers, my Shaykh.

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah, praise be to Allah. If you need "Blessed are the strangers," then I tell you, in this legal sense, "Every stranger is a relative to the stranger."
The student: Yes.

The Shaykh : As for me, I have two types of being a stranger, and you meet me in one of them. So what a meeting, yes, praise be to Allah.
The student : If Allah wills, our Lord, my Shaykh, will gather us in Paradise with our Master Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).

The Shaykh : (peace and blessings be upon him).
The student : Your passport is Syrian.

The Shaykh : Syrian.
The student: He is still.

The Shaykh: He is still.
The student : And it is renewed.

The Shaykh : By Allah, it was with me, meaning...
