The Shaykh : This is a hadith from the Messenger, (peace and blessings be upon him) , that the cure for ignorance is asking. And our Lord, (Mighty and Majestic), says in the Noble Qur'an [An-Nahl 16:43]. The first hadith, , has a very great occasion. It is that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent a detachment for jihad in the path of Allah, and a battle took place between the Muslims and the polytheists. Some of the Muslims were wounded. One of them had a wet dream at night; when he woke up in the morning, he found that he had had a wet dream, so the full ritual bath became obligatory upon him. He asked those around him, "My situation is such and such, and my whole body is covered in wounds. Is there a dispensation for me so that I do not have to take a bath or perform the full ritual bath?" And do not drink with your left hand, because drinking with the left hand is prohibited. They told him, "No, you must perform the full ritual bath." So he performed it. The wounds became infected, his temperature rose, and the man died.
