The one who combines all the prayers after finishing work due to fear of his work manager: is it valid for him?
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : I was talking to some workers about maintaining the prayer, and I was surprised when an old man, whom I had advised to maintain the prayer, said to me: "I pray, my uncle." I said to him: "How do you pray? I don't see you praying." He said: "After I leave my work, I pray Maghrib, then I pray Dhuhr and Asr, and then Maghrib, because it is difficult for me to stop my work and stand to pray, so that my teacher doesn't get angry!!" So is this prayer valid and permissible, meaning leaving the Dhuhr, Asr, and Maghrib prayers until he combines them all at once... does he pray Maghrib and Isha after he goes to his house?
The Shaykh : This—may Allah be pleased with him!—is combining what neither the first nor the last generations combined!!
Another questioner : By Allah, a man in this neighborhood did this, and I said to him: "I don't have..."
Another questioner : That one is not a worker!!
The Shaykh : Notice with me how he speaks and how he cares about the anger of the created being who is his teacher, while he does not care about the One who created him and created his teacher getting angry, if that is the expression... the expression... he does not care about the anger of the Lord of the Worlds!! So this means that they prefer worldly life over the Hereafter. The problem is that the youth of today, and more specifically those before today, were lost. There were no callers who would guide the people, enlighten them, and make them aware of their religion and understand it; and so they became like the elderly; meaning, what comes to the mind of any one of them is that he draws near to Allah and worships Allah, but[An-Nahl 16:43] this does not come to their minds; let alone that the severe warning that came regarding the one who neglects a prayer and takes it out of its time without an excuse like sleep or forgetfulness comes to the mind of any one of them, such as his saying (peace and blessings be upon him): Mishkat al-Masabih 61Da'īf (Zubair `Aliza'i), in another hadith: , "wutr" meaning you have destroyed your family, it is like the one whose house burned down with its people and wealth in it, he only missed the Asr prayer, so imagine the negligence of these people regarding their religion and the worship of their Lord, who did not create them to work for their masters so that he considers the anger of his teacher, the anger of his master, meaning, and our Lord says in the clear Qur'an: [Adh-Dhariyat 51:56-57], the realities have been reversed for people. The causes that are necessary are neglected, and the causes that are not of the category of necessity, but it is prescribed to take them, are raised and placed in the position of the necessary causes.
The Shaykh: Paradise is forbidden to the disbelievers and forbidden to the open sinners, and no one enters it except the believers. And it was among the announcements of Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) when the Messenger (peace be upon him) sent him ahead of the year of his Hajj (peace and blessings be upon him) to Mecca in the Hajj season before the Prophet's Hajj, he ordered him to announce the announcements for that season because there were still polytheists: that no one should circumambulate the House naked, because they used to circumambulate naked, and that no one enters Paradise except a believing soul, and so on. Our Lord (Mighty and Majestic)... created them so that they would care about sustenance!! Because He said (the Exalted):[Adh-Dhariyat 51:57], and in the authentic hadith: Sahih Muslim 2577a meaning seek guidance from me these people do not seek guidance, so they reverse the principle of taking causes, especially those that are from the lawful causes.
The Shaykh: One of them assumes that if he sits in the house, sustenance will not come to him, but he does not imagine that if he disobeys his Lord, Paradise will not come to him; because the price of Paradise is high, its price is faith and righteous deeds; and so He said (the Exalted) in the noble Qur'an:; meaning: Paradise [Al-Layl 92:8-9].
The Shaykh: So maintaining the prayer is a very important matter, and the importance of maintaining the prayer returns to two things, one of which I mentioned earlier; and that is that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) created us to worship Him, and He ordered His servants, after faith in Allah, which is the second pillar, to maintain the prayer. But the second importance of these prayers is that they purify the person from the effects of his sins and the burdens of these sins that accumulate on the person day and night, as he (peace and blessings be upon him) said in the authentic hadith:, thus between the prayers are expiations for their people, and as in the other authentic hadith, which is his saying (peace and blessings be upon him): . They said: No, O Messenger of Allah. Five times he bathes in a deep, flowing, abundant river, and nothing of his dirt remains on his body. He said: .
The Shaykh: So no matter how righteous we are, no matter how mindful of Allah we are, our foot must slip a little or a lot, every person according to his own level, especially the youth whose... what is it? Their desires are immense, strong, and intense, as he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Sunan Abi Dawud 2152Sahih (Al-Albani), his share of zina; because zina has degrees and ranks, as the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned in this hadith: ; meaning: touching, meaning: the handshake that has become a custom today, and this custom was not in the lands of Islam, but it entered them because of the colonization of the disbelievers of the lands of Islam, . This is what a person can escape from, and it is the fruit of these preliminaries, which is zina, as for a glance like this, it is treacherous, and no one escapes from it except that I say the prophets and the truthful ones and their like. So these sins that a person falls into, from minor sins, let alone there may be something of major sins, what is their purification, what is their expiation? Their expiation is the prayer. So the Muslim who does not pray is like the physically sick person who does not seek treatment, so his end is destruction; because germs and microbes accumulate on him and the end of his affair is destruction. Similarly, from the spiritual and moral aspect, the Muslim who does not pray is certainly drowning in sins and disobedience, and it is not as we sometimes hear from some of the youth, you say to him: "My brother, pray," he says to you: "What is there in prayer? What is there in leaving prayer?" It is a strange thing, meaning a strange logic, what is there in prayer? What would the thing be? He says to you: "What is in the heart." So the meaning of this is arguing with falsehood, which Satan whispered to his allies from among the jinn; because the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) says in the authentic hadith: Sahih al-Bukhari 52; so how can we imagine a Muslim whose heart is white and he does not pray? No, he has blackened his heart!! And so he does not look at this spiritual life at all, so this misguided poor youth says to you: "What is there in prayer?" Yes, there is something in prayer; because Allah narrated about the disbelievers in Hell when they regret, that one of them says: "" and I was not among those who prayed, and I did not feed the poor, [Al-Muddaththir 74:45]. Yes?
Another questioner : ... .
The Shaykh : Yes, so the prayer is necessary for two reasons; first, that it is an obligation that Allah has made obligatory, so we worship Allah with it, and the second thing is that it is a medicine for these sins that surround the person and are necessary for him, so the prayer is the pillar of the religion and the head of the religion, and it is sufficient what we heard earlier of his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):, as for combining the five prayers in one time, this is the one who does not perform these prayers, meaning he is less misguided, I almost said he is on a straighter path, but of course he is not on the right path, but he is less misguided, as for the one who combines these prayers, he is more misguided; why? Because this one thinks that he is praying, and the truth is that he is not praying; because the prayer, as He said (the Exalted): [An-Nisa 4:103], so he does not pray the five prayers in their times, so this is not prayer. Second, he legislates, so he falls into shirk, he legislates what Allah has not legislated, He said (the Exalted): [Ash-Shuraa 42:21], so these youth who prefer worldly life over the Hereafter should maintain the prayers in their times, and not work with a teacher or boss who conditions and imposes on them what is contrary to what Allah has imposed on them. There is no prayer for us, there is no sheikhdom for us, so when the Muslim youth is surprised by such a condition, the condition of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is more worthy, and the condition of others is invalid, and every condition, as he (peace and blessings be upon him) said in this other occasion: Sunan Ibn Majah 2521Sahih (Darussalam). So these people must be advised, reminded, and made aware of their religion.
The questioner : A man ... bread, and bread is scarce among people ... he will be expelled and die of hunger ... with you, meaning with you, but Allah said: "And do not throw your own hands into destruction" ... a person ... .
Another questioner : ... Allah is the Provider.
Another questioner : We do not know that Allah is the Provider,[Al-Mulk 67:15] ... you need to stretch out your hands to eat.
The Shaykh : You have a precedent from yourself; it appears that there are many in your examples. We are not saying: do not strive for provision. We are saying: do not strive for provision by disobeying Allah (Mighty and Majestic); meaning, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said in the authentic hadith: . We tell the young man: you must strive for lawful provision, not unlawful provision, lawful provision. And we do not tell him: do not work. Work, as in the Qur'an in many verses, including the ones you referred to, and including the day of Friday, which the Muslims made an error by imitating the disbelievers: [Al-Jumu'ah 62:10] . The day of Friday, today it is considered imitating the Christians and the Jews. The Jews have Saturday, and the Christians have Sunday. Why should we not have a day like the Jews and the Christians? What Allah willed! Our Lord says in the clear Qur'an: [Al-Jumu'ah 62:10] . What more does the Muslim need from this verse to encourage striving for provision? But this does not mean seek provision through sin, leave prayer to please your boss, no. The matter of striving for provision is one thing, and the matter of maintaining acts of worship and prayer while engaging in the means of provision is another thing.
Please, my brother, what do you have?
The Shaykh : This—may Allah be pleased with him!—is combining what neither the first nor the last generations combined!!
Another questioner : By Allah, a man in this neighborhood did this, and I said to him: "I don't have..."

So ask the people of the message if you do not know.
فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ لا تَعْلَمُونَfor he who deliberately neglects to observe a prescribed prayer will have God’s protection removed from him
Whoever misses the 'Asr prayer, his family and his wealth are destroyed.
(56) And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. (57) I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me.
Abu Dharr reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying that Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, said: "O My servants, I have forbidden oppression for Myself and have made it forbidden amongst you, so do not oppress one another. O My servants, all of you are astray except for those I have guided, so seek guidance of Me and I shall guide you, O My servants, all of you are hungry except for those I have fed, so seek food of Me and I shall feed you. O My servants, all of you are naked except for those I have clothed, so seek clothing of Me and I shall clothe you. O My servants, you sin by night and by day, and I forgive all sins, so seek forgiveness of Me and I shall forgive you. O My servants, you will not attain harming Me so as to harm Me, and will not attain benefitting Me so as to benefit Me. O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to be as pious as the most pious heart of any one man of you, that would not increase My dominion in anything. O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to be as wicked as the most wicked heart of any one man of you, that would not decrease My dominion in anything. O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to rise up in one place and make a request of Me, and were I to give everyone what he requested, that would not decrease what I have, any more that a needle decreases the sea if put into it. O My servants, it is but your deeds that I record for you and then recompense you for. So let him who finds good, praise Allah, and let him who finds other than that blame no one but himself." Sa'id said that when Abu Idris Khaulini narrated this hadith he knelt upon his knees.
I will guide you.
The Shaykh: One of them assumes that if he sits in the house, sustenance will not come to him, but he does not imagine that if he disobeys his Lord, Paradise will not come to him; because the price of Paradise is high, its price is faith and righteous deeds; and so He said (the Exalted) in the noble Qur'an:
So as for he who gives and fears Allah and believes in the best, We will make easy for him the easy way.
(8) But as for he who withholds and considers himself free of need (9) And denies the best [reward],
The Shaykh: So maintaining the prayer is a very important matter, and the importance of maintaining the prayer returns to two things, one of which I mentioned earlier; and that is that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) created us to worship Him, and He ordered His servants, after faith in Allah, which is the second pillar, to maintain the prayer. But the second importance of these prayers is that they purify the person from the effects of his sins and the burdens of these sins that accumulate on the person day and night, as he (peace and blessings be upon him) said in the authentic hadith:
You burn, you burn, then you pray the Zuhr prayer and your sins are forgiven, then you burn, you burn, then you pray the 'Asr prayer and your sins are forgiven.
The example of the five prayers is like a flowing, deep river in which one of you bathes five times a day; do you think any of his filth would remain on his body?
That is the example of the five prayers by which Allah expiates sins.
The Shaykh: So no matter how righteous we are, no matter how mindful of Allah we are, our foot must slip a little or a lot, every person according to his own level, especially the youth whose... what is it? Their desires are immense, strong, and intense, as he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Allaah has decreed for the children of Adam a share in adultery, he will get it by all means
It has been decreed for the son of Adam his share of unlawful sexual intercourse; it will surely overtake him. The eye commits unlawful sexual intercourse, and its unlawful act is looking; the ear commits unlawful sexual intercourse, and its unlawful act is listening; the hand commits unlawful sexual intercourse, and its unlawful act is touching.
The hand commits unlawful sexual intercourse, and its unlawful act is touching; the foot commits unlawful sexual intercourse, and its unlawful act is walking; and the private parts either confirm all of this or deny it.
Beware! There is a piece of flesh in the body if it becomes good (reformed) the whole body becomes good but if it gets spoilt the whole body gets spoilt and that is the heart.
And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who engaged [in it],
Another questioner : ... .

Whoever leaves a prayer—meaning one prayer—has broken the covenant of Allah and His Messenger.
Indeed, prayer has been decreed upon the believers a decree of specified times.
Or have they other deities who have ordained for them a religion to which Allah has not consented?
Every conditions that is not in the Book of Allah (SWT) is invalid, even if there are one hundred conditions
The questioner : A man ... bread, and bread is scarce among people ... he will be expelled and die of hunger ... with you, meaning with you, but Allah said: "And do not throw your own hands into destruction" ... a person ... .

Another questioner : We do not know that Allah is the Provider,
so walk among its slopes and eat of His provision
The Shaykh : You have a precedent from yourself; it appears that there are many in your examples. We are not saying: do not strive for provision. We are saying: do not strive for provision by disobeying Allah (Mighty and Majestic); meaning, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said in the authentic hadith:
O people, fear Allah; for none of you will die until he has completed his provision and his lifespan. So be beautiful in your seeking; for what is with Allah cannot be attained through what is forbidden.
And when the prayer has been concluded, disperse within the land and seek from the bounty of Allah
And when the prayer has been concluded, disperse within the land and seek from the bounty of Allah
Please, my brother, what do you have?
