Among the characteristics of Friday is hastening to attend the mosque.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And among the characteristics of this day is that a person should hasten to arrive at the mosque,
Indeed, whoever takes a bath on Friday and then comes to the mosque in the first hour, it is as if he offered a camel; in the second hour, it is as if he offered a cow; in the third hour, it is as if he offered a horned ram; in the fourth hour, it is as if he offered a chicken; and in the fifth hour, it is as if he offered an egg. When the imam arrives, the angels arrive and the scrolls are rolled up.
and no one is recorded as having the reward of advancing, because the time for advancing ends with the imam's arrival.
On this occasion, I would like to advise my Muslim brothers to advance to the Friday prayer, for many people, indeed most people, are found spending and wasting their time on Friday in matters of no benefit, thereby depriving themselves of this reward. If they had advanced after taking a bath, then prayed what Allah made easy for them, and sat reading the Qur'an and remembering Allah (Mighty and Majestic) until the imam arrived, or if they had been praying until the imam arrived, that would have been better for them. This is what I wanted to speak about regarding Friday.
