The Shaykh’s remarks on the saying of Allah the Exalted: “For those who do good is the good [reward] and more.”

The Shaykh : So I say that regarding the second verse, which is explained by his saying (peace and blessings be upon him) [Yunus 10:26] Paradise and seeing Allah in Paradise, it may be that they had an excuse that this hadith had not reached them. But we say this about the early generations. What do we say about the later generations, to whom it is said, “This is a hadith” and “This is a hadith,” and there are mass-transmitted hadiths, all of which establish that the believers will see their Lord on the Day of Resurrection? These people have no excuse because they have come to know these hadiths. But what have they found for themselves as an excuse to escape and get rid of it? They said, “It is an ahad hadith, and no argument is established in creed based on it.” This is a second pillar that the people of innovation and the people of desires rely on to deny a very large part of the Sunnah. Then connected to this is that a correct, mass-transmitted hadith may come, and then a narration from among the narrations comes that helps the interpreters to interpret the text figuratively and take it out of its apparent meaning. So they turn away from the mass-transmitted to the ahad. Look, now it is the exact opposite.
For them who have done good is the best
للذين أحسنوا الحسنىand more
وزيادةYou will see your Lord
إنكم سترون ربكم
