Exegesis of the verse: “For those who do good is the good [reward] and more.”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : There is another verse, in which Allah the Exalted said:
For them who have done good is the best [reward] and extra للذين أحسنوا الحسنى وزيادة
[Yunus 10:26]
The exegesis of this verse came in an authentic hadith in Muslim: للذين أحسنوا الحسنى أي الجنة ، وزيادة أي رؤية الله في الآخرة For those who do good is the good [reward], meaning Paradise, and more, meaning seeing Allah in the Hereafter. They interpreted it with something other than that, such as seeing the blessings and the like of what was mentioned before. This is called ta'til (denial of the divine attributes) in brief. Perhaps I have spoken longer than the questioner intended with his question. The questioner : In brief, I say, may Allah have mercy on Ibn al-Qayyim, who said:
“Knowledge is: Allah said, His Messenger said, the Companions said. It is not deception.
Knowledge is not setting up your ignorance to oppose the Messenger with the opinion of a jurist.
Nor is it denying the attributes and negating them out of fear of ta'til (denial of the divine attributes) and tashbih (likening Allah to creation).”
This is knowledge: Allah said, the Messenger of Allah said, the Companions said. Today, all the Islamic sects take two things from this statement: “Allah said” and “the Messenger of Allah said.” But they twist and turn around what Allah said and what the Messenger of Allah said, and they come to you with a school of thought for which Allah has not sent down any authority.
